Come join us for a beginner friendly, hands-on workshop covering the ins and outs of 35mm photography. From loading your first roll to pulling freshly developed negatives out of the tank, we got you—No experience required!

Note: This workshop focuses almost exclusively on black-and-white photography. 

We’ll break down fundamental camera mechanics, proper loading, and the exposure triangle of aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. We’ll cover hand-developing black-and-white film and how to convert your negatives into high-resolution digital files. 

After the demo, we’ll head out as a group, pass around a camera, and collectively shoot a single roll of film. Then we’ll head back inside to spool the film, mix our chemistry, and hand-develop the roll together. 

Bring your own 35mm camera if you have one. If you don't have a camera, no problem at all—you are completely welcome to come watch, learn, and practice using the demonstration cameras we'll have on hand!
